I saw firsthand how young people were falling through the cracks. I saw brilliant minds buried under trauma. I saw potential held hostage by poverty, injustice, and lack of support. And I knew deep in my soul: our community deserves better. That’s why I created Benevolence Transitional Housing — a safe space for young adults ages 17–23 to rebuild, reimagine, and rise. This isn’t just housing. It’s healing. It’s heart work. It’s home.
