About Our Organization

At the heart of Benevolence is a belief that transformation begins with love, community and the utilization of evidence-based practices. Founded by criminal justice professional Deborah Mosley, the organization takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to transitional housing, blending stable shelter with individualized case management, mentorship, financial literacy, education support, employment assistance, mental health support, and life skills training.
Benevolence is more than housing—it’s a movement. We’re building a community where love leads, empathy is our superpower, and healing becomes the foundation for lasting change. We aim to transform the systems that have missed the mark with our youth by lifting up their strengths, honoring their humanity, and restoring their hope.

Our Initiatives
Our projects focus on providing housing solutions, support services, and community outreach programs to address the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to create lasting impact and positive change.

Housing Support
Safe Accommodation
We offer supportive housing solutions to individuals facing housing instability ensuring a secure and stable environment during their transition. Our support services include case management, counseling, and access to essential resources to help residents regain stability and independence.

Community Outreach
Engaging with Society
Our outreach programs aim to raise awareness about homelessness, advocate for policy changes, and build partnerships with local organizations to create a more inclusive and compassionate community. By engaging with society, we strive to foster empathy and understanding towards those in need.

Empowerment Programs
Building Brighter Futures
We provide life skills training, educational workshops, we help create a self-sufficiency savings program for each resident and connect clients with job readiness programs to empower them to break the cycle of homelessness. These initiatives equip residents with the tools and resources needed to secure stable employment, improve their well-being, and achieve long-term success.
